Café Will in Limburg

Very tasty cakes! Unfortunately, due to Corona, you can only get everything "to go" there at the moment. Nevertheless, the staff tries so hard!

Traditional café with a large selection. Cake, ice cream and coffee are delicious. The staff should like to be a little more open and friendly, especially with regard to small children. Especially when you are in town as a tourist you do not know the "rules" of the house (e.g. that the cake should be ordered at the counter, the ice cream and coffee at the table.

5 Stars! Super professional and lovely advice (wedding cake) from Alexander Will. Even short-term changes are competently implemented. The taste of the cake was very good and all guests were delighted. Incidentally, you can have a very good breakfast in Cafe Will and are lovingly served.

Simply great! Unfortunately, due to the Corona issue, we initially had to postpone the production of our wedding cake and now cancel it for an indefinite period of time. Both times the dealings were extremely customer-friendly and understanding. You don't experience that everywhere. Thank you again at this point! You'd love to come back here. Definitely recommendable, authentic cafe with traditional charm. It tastes like it used to at grandma's. Old recipes and the best ingredients bring back delights that have been forgotten for decades, absolutely an experience.

1000 thanks for the delicious and wonderful wedding cake. All guests, including us, were absolutely delighted. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast, a unique cake or simply a delicious piece of cake or tart, you have come to the right place.

Unfriendly service, prices are sometimes not listed and that certain cakes do not contain alcohol either. The result was a bad buy (pregnant), which the waitress didn't care about. Cream is offered without pointing out the extra charge. You are quickly processed and ripped off in my eyes.

The cake shown in the photo was baked for our daughter's baptism. In our circle of friends, cakes are always ordered from Cafe Will and every cake, regardless of the flavor, tastes great. The cream filling, in our case a light strawberry cream, is not sweet at all or is heavy in the stomach, so that one likes to grab a second or third piece. The cakes are not only highly recommended from a taste point of view - through brush techniques (as can be seen with our cake, in gold) and other decoration ideas, they look very appealing and simply wonderful. The next one will be ordered here again!

Traditional café with a great selection of cakes and pies. Located in the middle of the old town and almost always fully occupied outside. But you like to wait. Operation very fast and routine. You feel very comfortable as a guest.

Super pastry shop - already in the 5th generation! When you visit Limburg, it's not just the historic half-timbered houses that fascinate. You should also pay a visit to Café Will, the oldest in town. The coffee is excellent, super delicious cakes and baked goods await you there. We were absolutely thrilled!

Yes, this place is a jewel in the old city of Limburg. We had to look twice if this would be acceptable for us and yes, our expectations where actually trumped. We where seated with a friendly but proffesional smile. The filled roll with cold meat and tomato soup where fresh and tasty. Here is also a variety of cakes. If you pass this cafe, do not hesitate to enter. The coffees do have a punch if so ordered.

FIRST CREAM - EVEN IN LIMBURG! 2-storey confirmation cake for 45 persons From us first a huge praise to the Café Will ..... Starting with the first contact because of the demand if a short time individual cake can be made on the on-site appointment in Café Will with a lick of cake and a glass Latte Macchiato for advice and consideration of our wishes to the selection of ingredients and decorations as well as the absolutely punctual delivery 20 km away, all fit very well - our expectations were even exceeded. Our guests were already delighted with the delivery of the professional appearance of Mr. Will and admired the artwork downright. They shot a photo, changed their whatsapp status and constantly asked who made this cake! In terms of taste, the combination of chocolate and strawberry, as well as the fresh berries, turned it into an absolute delicacy. Without artificial sweetness with perfect flavor cream, one or the other even got a hefty look back (see photo). The real white roses round off the deodorization optimally. Continue to much success and many delicious pies!

Apple strudel is so good!

A fantastic hidden treasure in the old part of Limburg. Upon entering this coffees shop, one steps back into an era where quality and good service was rendered with pride and joy. I make a point of bringing all of my overseas guests here to experience some of Germany's finest confectionery. This family run coffee shop has catered for and pampered its patrons for generations and still continues to impresses in this day and age. The staff is always friendly and most helpful. The owner lady, who bty speaks very good English, has so often patiently recounted the history of this place and explained various traditional cakes and bakes. Her pride in this business is plain to see and also extends to her son who is a master baker. A trip to Limburg would be incomplete without a visit to this gem.

Average cakes and coffee, nothing spectacular

Should have known not to try and eat lunch here. My daughter had cake which was good but the light lunch entres were blah. Rusty lettuce in salad. potato salad with lots of mayo. Im sure you will be happy with coffee and cake!
